Five days a week, only eat until you are full - and no more.
A very simple - however still difficult - rule, especially when the food is delicious and made by good friends. Be more relaxed in the weekends, but still remember that overeating is unhealthy...
Limit fat to one third of your intake.

of this already during shopping: Always start in vegetables section and
choose all the most delightful green stuff - subsequently add meat and
candy. Don't do it the other way round
Prepare your own food - then you know how healthy it is.
A difficult rule for the comfortable people. Limit visits at restaurants - and especially(!!) fast food restaurants.
Ensure that your pulse is up running at least 30 minutes every day.
This is the tough one... But think of it as a 'flush of your system'! Like flushing the toilet! That helps a lot (for me at least...)
AND OF COURSE: DON'T EVEN THINK OF SMOKING OR TAKING DRUGS!!!This just eat your lungs and brain - far too expensive parts to loose...
